Thank you, Apple! 🍎
If you’ve been following our channel in the last few months, you’ll notice we’ve slightly changed our content format – and we’ll continue to change and evolve.
One of the main reasons we’ve tweaked our content formula is to optimize and maximize our Apple News Channel. For a while, all @FashionWeek.Pro’s Instagram posts would automatically publish on the site + featured here. Unfortunately, those posts were not aesthetically pleasing on our Apple News Channel although they did drive good traffic to the site.
Also, our Fashion Week channel on Apple News did not import our entire RSS feed, so we are in the process of republishing our most popular features this week. There are many editorials that received thousands of hits on our website that we will be adding to our Official Apple News Channel before the end of the month.
The @FashionWeek.Pro Instagram account has also gone through a major remodeling! We are posting less often while adding more videos + making each post a gallery of images. Our stories have increased in quantities and frequency – some of our stories get thousands of views! Check out our IGTV channel with full runway show videos, exclusive footage & a unique video shopping experience.
We’ve added a new column segment to our channel called ‘Models We Love’ which has gotten a ton of traffic so far. We are working on our next supermodel couple feature – Tessa & Barron Hilton! Stay tuned + you can check out the new column here.
Our homepage will be going through a little reconstruction very soon!
Thanks to all our lovely fans, followers + shoppers!
The following editorial was originally published on our site here & is now being added to our Official Apple News Channel.

Monique Lhuillier Bio via Bergdorf Goodman
Monique Lhuillier launched her collection to fill a void in the bridal market, when modern, lace-free looks with a certain flair were hard to find for her own wedding. What started there transformed into statement gowns and cocktail looks that seamlessly blend high-wattage glamour, femininity and couture-like techniques. Her dresses have been worn by everyone from First Ladies to young starlets.
FashionWeek.pro is delighted to announce a new marketing channel partnership with Bergdorf Goodman. #FashionWeekPro is fully sponsored through affiliate marketing partnerships. Spring 2019 transports you to the French countryside, where the essence of sophisticated luxury is provoked by a poetic elegance. Embracing the authenticity of the Monique Lhuillier brand DNA, this season’s girl is joyous and carefree. A celebratory palette of dusty rose, cherry red, sea foam, fuchsia, yellow, lavender and champagne infuses romance and reverie into the collection.
Billowing Chiffons, French Tulles, Point D’esprit and flowing Organza are sprinkled with elegant embroidery and feather butterflies. Graphic and modern touches add an edgy perspective, with contrasting lace borders arranged in bold stripes over sculpted, iconic silhouettes. Glitter confetti and pearl beading mimic champagne bubbles. The fluidity of the silhouettes made me dream of floating in a lush, garden-like setting evoking pure fantasy. The air is undeniably celebratory.
Monique Lhuillier’s Spring offering arrived early this year, just after couture and during men’s rather than mid-September. Given the urgency with which the collection was pushed forward, one might have expected something new and of particular note. But it was business as usual for Lhuillier, who explained over the phone from Europe that she wanted to return to the core of the brand. “That is celebration dresses,” she said.
And so, Lhuillier sent out a slew of tulle point d’esprit gowns flecked with glitter or wrapped with very thin silk ribbons like holiday gifts, plus a few simple slips and shorter dresses ostensibly for less formal, but no less celebratory, events. Most intriguing were the handful of high-neck and long-sleeved modest evening numbers. Modest gowns represent a growing market for the designer, and they added some visual interest, as well.
The lookbook was shot at a picturesque French château, as Lhuillier’s debut Paris show one year ago had left her even more enamored with the country than before (her father is French). “I wanted the clothes to be seen in the place where they might be worn,” she said.
