Thank you, Apple!
If you’ve been following our channel in the last few months, you’ll notice we’ve slightly changed our content format – and we’ll continue to change and evolve.
One of the main reasons we’ve tweaked our content formula is to optimize and maximize our Apple News Channel. For a while, all @FashionWeek.Pro’s Instagram posts would automatically publish on the site + featured here. Unfortunately, those posts were not aesthetically pleasing on our Apple News Channel although they did drive good traffic to the site.
Also, our Fashion Week channel on Apple News did not import our entire RSS feed, so we are in the process of republishing our most popular features this week. There are many editorials that received thousands of hits on our website that we will be adding to our Official Apple News Channel before the end of the month.
The @FashionWeek.Pro Instagram account has also gone through a major remodeling! We are posting less often while adding more videos + making each post a gallery of images. Our stories have increased in quantities and frequency – some of our stories get thousands of views! Check out our IGTV channel with full runway show videos, exclusive footage & a unique video shopping experience.
We’ve added a new column segment to our channel called ‘Models We Love’ which has gotten a ton of traffic so far. We are working on our next supermodel couple feature – Tessa & Barron Hilton! Stay tuned + you can check out the new column here.
Our homepage will be going through a little reconstruction very soon!
Thanks to all our lovely fans, followers + shoppers!

Bronx and Banco, opened the show with what’s trending for Spring Summer 2019 presenting a charming collection made up of playful silhouettes in floral prints and contrasting hues. Elliatt gave us a collection inspired by Western films styled with a ‘rodeo’ influence with floral prints, heritage check, multi-coloured sequins, embroidered metallic velvet and lots of lace. Pops of vibrant reds and hot pinks through to neutral shades of cream and metallic accents highlighted the upcoming collection.
Influencer Tammy Hembrow debuted her activewear, Saski Collection. Classic staple pieces in mesh, fleece and reflective accents made their way on the runway in a colour palette of sage green, dusty blue, dusty pink, cream, grey and black.
Melbourne’s very own NNCY proved why they were the ones to watch with a juxtaposing play with an array of silks, jersey, cotton and denim by NNCY. Inspired by the designer’s late mother, who was a seamstress creating versatile pieces which the label has adopted. Santina-Nicole boosted timeless elegance with each piece accentuating the female silhouette in luxurious fabrics ranging from beaded sequin, crepe, double bonded satin, mesh fringing through to cotton jacquard in a palette of Red, dusty pink, pearl blue as well as black and white.
Elle Zeitoune played with glamorous sequined fabric and intricate soft lace inspired by Palm Spring. Her ultra-feminine, sophisticated and classic fitted silhouettes with a modern twist made up of soft pastels, deep navy, rose tones with accents of emerald and metallic golds.
The next wave of talented emerging designers did not disappoint with ready-to-wear designers Jagger & Stone, and Harvey the Label, The Blonde Republic showcasing a variety of collections. Jagger & Stone showcased a modern take on the medieval style, inspired by Games of Thrones using velvet, gold embroidered mesh and rich tones of royal emerald green and wine red. Harvey the Label played with bold prints which captured the eye and imagination with each piece cleverly designed to be worn multiple ways. The Blonde Republic showcased a sports lux glam collection made up of cottons, nylon and spandex in a classic colour palette of black, white and nude.
Australian Luxury eco-friendly handbag brand Avery Verse made their mark with as a variety of Italian vegetable tanned leather in aubergine, bold red, brown & classic black handbags made their way down the runway, styled with sophisticated looks to convey the Avery Verse woman.
DA by Daniel Alexander closed the show with his outlandish, Wizard of OZ inspired collection made up of intricate one of a kind pieces dominating the runway. His highly anticipated collection featuring a palette of metallic pieces made up of emerald, gold, royal purple and black including clever use of fabrics featuring Italian liquid sequin, bamboo jersey, chiffon to rubber and evening dresses that left the industry in a buzz.
The models looked gorgeous parading the 146 looks from the talented line-up of Australian designers, styled by teams from Davroe Hair and Alison Jade Cosmetics. Beauty looks created were a mix of bronze glam, smokey eyes to soft flirty hair.
