Ulyana Sergeenko Haute Couture SS20 // Spring Summer 2020 Runway –  Paris Fashion Week

January 20th, 2020 – Paris, France: Ulyana Sergeenko returns to Paris for Haute Couture week at the Hotel Mona Bismarck. FashionWeek.Pro Paris editorial teams were invited to preview the collection. Dita von Teese closed the runway and Coco Rocha opened the show. With a collection fit for the 21st-century roaring twenties, Ulyana Sergeenko paired kitschy pop culture icon details – such as martini glasses, kittens, rocking horses & tiaras – with distinctive CAMP aesthetics.

Dita von Teese’s corset featured two cat heads cleverly positioned atop of the bustier in a look that was iconic, timeless & tres DITA-worthy. The collection was dripping with crystal embellishments, ruching, feathers & whimsy in soft pastels, metallics + signature black silhouettes. The wine glass clutch in Coco Rocha’s metallic look is one of our obsessions from this collection. Ms. Sergeenko is definitely a master in ruching & Fleurette detailing while coupling this vibrantly intricate collection with more simplified looks such as the rose cropped jacket & high-waisted mini in look #4. The cat bustier silhouette was seen throughout the collection in black & metallics and accentuated with money-print tulle skirts and sleeves or nestled in feathers,
